WINE COMPANY IN CINIGIANO-MONTECUCCO DOC AREA

The company is located in the municipality of Cinigiano-Grosseto in the Montecucco DOC wine production area and has an area of ​​approximately 25 hectares of which:

-7.50 ha planted with vineyards in 2005, (80×250 grid – density 5000 plants/ha)

-1.00 ha planted as a vineyard in 2013, (80×250 layout – density 5000 plants/ha)

-1.00 ha planted as a vineyard in 2015, (80×250 layout – density 5000 plants/ha)

-2.00 ha bushy pasture

-6.00 ha intended for coppice forest

-the rest headlands, roads and tares.

All 9.50 hectares of vineyard are registered with the Montecucco DOC, the varieties present are:

-8.50ha Sangiovese

-0.50 ha to Merlot

-0.50 ha asyrah

The PMAA, already approved, provides for the creation of a further 1.50 hectares of vineyard (shares already owned) and 0.50 hectares of specialized olive grove.

All the vineyards are equipped with an irrigation system.

The vineyards are cultivated with Integrated Lotta, well on their way towards organic farming.

Mainly hilly terrain, with slight slopes.

In the company there is a recently built 300 m2 tool shed building.

They are planned for construction, designed and already approved:

-an agricultural annex for cellar use of 800 m2 (which can be further expanded).

-a rural building partly for residential use for the entrepreneur, partly for multipurpose agricultural use of 240 m2.

-a reservoir for water collection, already under construction.

In 2017, more than 3km of fencing was created to protect the vineyard from wild boars and other animals,
